BVGC - Our Response to COVID-19

Updated: 16th June 2020

The safety and wellbeing of our members and staff is our number one priority, I’m sure you can all appreciate that these are difficult times for everyone, but we must always put the safety of our members and staff at the forefront of any decisions made on the operation of the golf club. We are not the only club in this situation having sought advice from neighboring clubs and affiliations to ensure our guidelines are consistent.

We have produced the following guidelines to ensure you can continue to play golf but in the safest manner possible, the guidelines take into consideration the recent 'Play Safe, Stay Safe' guidelines published by England Golf and Everyone Active. Due to the nature of the situation, these guidelines may change on a daily basis so please ensure you regularly check-in with our guidelines below.

If you or any member of your household have symptoms of the coronavirus infection (COVID-19), you are advised to self isolate hence we ask that you do not enter the course/club establishment.

It is vital you notify any member of the committee if you, or any member of your household, have displayed the symptoms of the coronavirus.

Please also refer to Everyone Active's guidelines on playing golf which can be found here

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in you being asked to leave the course
